If you are considering buying a practice or a partnership share, we can help.
We can:
- produce a goodwill valuation
- calculate how much the practice is worth to you, depending on how you intend to run it.
Our package of support is as follows:
- To calculate the goodwill value of the proposed purchase, for which we will need the latest three sets of practice accounts. We also ask that a questionnaire giving more background on the practice be completed. A copy can be downloaded.
- We will produce projected profit and loss accounts, taking into consideration any changes which you have informed us that you would like to make in the running of the practice. These profit and loss accounts will take into consideration any loan repayments that you need to make in regard to the practice purchase.
- We will produce projected cash flows for the practice for the next three years, taking into account seasonal variations, tax and VAT payments, as well as capital loan repayments.
- We would discuss with you what level of income you need to maintain your personal circumstances and would ensure that after all loan repayments there was sufficient profit in the practice to meet your needs.
- Having looked through the information provided about the proposed practice purchase, we would raise questions and issues that we consider should be satisfactorily answered before completion of the purchase. These might be formal questions that you pass on to your solicitor.
- We can, if required, liaise with a solicitor regarding key issues relating to the practice purchase.
We can then, if you so wish, send the information that we have prepared on your behalf, together with other background information that we produce, to the major clearing banks to arrange a competitive loan. We are confident that we would be able to negotiate both low interest rates, minimal possible security of loan and low arrangement fees.
Please Contact Us for further information or to apply to use this service. We will provide a firm price once we have ascertained your needs.
